Hey there! I am Afifah binti Md Nasir. People call me Effa. I am currently studying at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Gombak majoring in Islamic studies and minor in Teaching Arabic as a Second Language (TASL).

Last year,  I took study leave from my university, International Islamic University Malaysia for studying language at Kuwait. This programme is under Kuwait University, so I got offer to study there in one year.

Today, I can speak Arabic language better than before and more confidence to speak Arabic language with Arabians or friends or lecturer.

                                                               My mission

To explain YOU what the benefits study abroad !! Why i choose to create blog this tittle because from my experience after studying abroad, my self-esteem is more difference than previously. i become more independence and brave to face challenges and more to be willing to listen to other  people's opinions about something.

 I had never been out of the country. Studying abroad gave me the opportunity to see the world , without compromising my education my education.



CULTURE ENRICHMENT
Kuwait's people more like to celebrate Independence Day than others festival. They start to celebrate Independence Day one before the celebration and they will celebrate from morning until next morning's day. 



ENDEPENDENCE
     Before studying abroad, even I study far war from but  I was still come back home every month . I needed  to experience something bigger than my own backyard. So, I search in internet about this programme to join it.

  LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS

     You become incredibly close with other student that you are abroad  with. living with them , studying with them, partying with them and ultimately sharing the entire experience with them. Regardless of your differences , you come together and it makes everything so much sweeter.










   DIVERSITY IN PROGRAMS

    I was enrol a few society activities there to improve my soft skill and to improve my confidence level.


   RESUME

This is obviously debatable but, speaking for personal experience, I firmly believe that by studying abroad you have a leg up on other student who haven't. Employers want to see that you are well rounded and have the capacity to do more than just study hard and get good grades.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Ultimately, Studying Abroad will not hurt your chances of getting a job. like effect it has on your resume, the end of result is that it gives you a competitive advantages over other students who didn't study abroad.

Media  I made this video is about my non-muslims' friend  who are studying Arabic language. This video is about how merrier Kuwait people celebrate their Independence day. Parent will bring their children to any festival to ensure their children love their country. Independence is the most favorite Kuwait people to celebrate. This video is about how me and foreign students learn Arabic language at Kuwait University. We more focus to learn how to speak Arabic, we not focus in grammar only. So, every day student will give a talk about anything in class.
